David Beckham To Sue Over Prostitute's Sex Allegations

David Beckham is taking legal action against a US magazine, In Touch, which published false claims about the soccer star’s infidelity towards his wife. The tabloid had claimed that Beckham cheated on his spouse with a $10,000-a-night hooker.

According to the magazine, Beckham spent a wild night with 26-year-old Irma Nici, who claims to be “the world's most sought-after call girl."

The two shared a room in a New York hotel in August 2007, shortly after he joined the LA Galaxy team, and again slept together at Claridge's hotel in London, a month later. “We had great chemistry. I've seen quite a few high-profile people. He isn't full of himself. He's a really nice guy,” Nici reportedly told the magazine.

The story also suggests that while enjoying their night in New York, David and Irma were joined in by a second woman, supplied by Kristin Davis. Not only did Beckham have unprotected sex with at least one prostitute, he also indulged in a threesome, claims the tabloid.

The reports are “completely untrue and totally ridiculous,” said a spokesman for the Beckhams. He added that they had informed the magazine before publication that there is no truth to those reports.

However, the magazine went ahead with the distribution of a false story, and now faces legal challenge from the star couple.

"As well as a few close friends, including interior designer Kelly Hoppen, they invited both sets of parents. It was a lavish yet intimate affair, and everyone had a ball.

"A lot of champagne was consumed - most of it by Victoria. And there was a lot of giggling going on. Victoria and Kelly were laughing the entire time. It was that kind of evening."
